    Slow Initialize/starup up v418

Slow startup and shutdown. I've been noticing very slow startup and shutdown when this plugin. I have it loading fast. While waiting for it to initialize, the system is sluggish, the plugins management screen doesn't load and players are all disconnected for a number of minutes. As soon as the players show connected, the performance lags disappear.

I have a rather complex config (over 370k music files in the library, 11 players) and load approx. 70 plugins. The system has plenty of juice and CPU rarely goes above 25% and there plenty of free handles, and ram.

It was running better on v318 but when I upgraded to 368 or any 4xx versions my system became unbearably slow for checking plugins, expanding events etc. I found that unchecking both of the "Enable Media API" options on the config screen and having the plugin load last resolved the performance issues. I worked with rich extensively, and we traced the slowness to the Squeezebox plugin.

Now, running 418, the slowness has returned..... immediately after plugin load, it takes around 8-10 minutes before the players connect and the slowness disappears.

Let me know what you need from me to troubleshoot. HS3 Config is below.

Do you have a debug/detailled debug trace log that you can send me?
Rich said he could work with you and can give you more details. I don't use Squeeze fo TTS. Disabling the Music APIs in the plugin resolved the major (7+ minute) slowdowns when trying to expand event actions.

If you'd like me to generate new logs, let me know what you need and I'll get them over to you.

I would need some technical information or (debug) logs from the plugin to look into it. Forward them to me if you have them. Maybe something also changed in the latest HS3 Betas Rich needs to look into.

I'll enable debug logs the next time I do a shutdown/restart and fwd them to you. I also sent you an e-mail. I deleted references to the extraneous players..but it's made no difference.

I received your email. Disabled and once tracked players in the ini file will not impact statup / shutdown.
