    Hhmm...

    Lee -

I have severe problems with the Belkin F8T012 and gave up. Otherwise, I thought it was a great device. If you get this worked out, please post your results. I am using WinXP, not Vista, and the Widcomm is ver 5.1.x, not 6.x

Here is what I use ...
    Bluetooth Device List:
    Device1 Q1-SxxxxxxKxxxxx 121 1 DiscoverService 1 W6
    Device2 PN820-SxxxxKxxxx 141 1 DiscoverService 1 W9
    Device3 V-SfffffKffffffff 105 1 DiscoverService 1 W11
    Device0 Sjjjjjjj Kjjjjjjjjjjjjj 171 1 DiscoverService 1 W4

HomeSeer Device Value / String Configuration for Bluetooth Device1 : Q1-SxxxxxxKxxxxx
Order Up Down Device Value Device String Boolean Expression Edit Delete
0 Up Down 3 Device Signal Strong @(Network0)>-12 Edit Delete
1 Up Down 2 Device Signal OK @(Network0)>-21 Edit Delete
2 Up Down 1 Device Signal Low @(Network0)>=-31 Edit Delete
3 Up Down 0 Device Away true Edit Delete

What other settings do you need?

You can select any floor or room for BT devices. The plugin doesn't care about this information. When the plugin creates a new device, the location is set to "Bluetooth".

When the BT Connector creates a new device (after Bluetooth discovery), the device type is automatically set by the plugin to the special value "Bluetooth". Again this is just to have a non empty field, and you can change this to anything.

If you think a HomeSeer device for a Bluetooth device has been corrupt, you can delete the HomeSeer device and restart the plugin. The device should be automatically recreated with default values.
