HST-IW07 without HSTouch Client

Does anybody know if you can remove the HSTouch client from the HST-IW07 and end up with a plain android platform?

I don't know why you couldn't - it's just an Android app that's set to start when you boot the OS.

I replaced the OS to a more ICS like base and have added numerous applications.
