    problem after restart

I get below message in my log, it won't stop it keeps on going ....

6-9-2008 17:35:07 ~!~Load Config~!~Checking device type settings for all devices...
6-9-2008 17:35:07 ~!~Warning~!~(2)Device slaapkamer 1st Floor slaapkamer - licht has properties different from its current device type of PLCBUS LAMP - device type has been changed to PLCBUS LAMP.1
6-9-2008 17:35:07 ~!~Warning~!~(2)Device slaapkamer 1st Floor slaapkamer - licht has properties different from its current device type of PLCBUS LAMP.1 - device type has been changed to PLCBUS LAMP.2

Apparently it doesn't like the device type I have created .....

The device is a PLCBUS device (crystal switch), when you create a PCL device the device type field stays empty, if you change it to something else there is no way to get an empty field ....

Did you create a new device type or modify an existing device?

Here's a KB article on the device types in HomeSeer.

          thanks it explains the behaviour.

          3. If you set a device to a blank device type, or using a script give it a device type that does not exist in the device type list, then HomeSeer will not check the characteristics at startup and will not create any new device types.

However explanation 3 doesn't seem to work once it is set to a specific device type, it won't go blank anymore ....
