Fortunately, it looks like we may have escaped, this year, but another really cool feature, if doable, would be tracking Invests and Hurricanes in the North Atlantic. (Others are going to want the Gulf and the Pacific.) A map would be great. This program is sorta the Swiss Army Knife of the genre, so is included only for example:

Couple we set a way to turn off the speech triggers between certain hours. I feel asleep downstairs last night and the Sonos woke me up - twice - to tell me about the windchill.

Would be great to set like a quiet period between like 11pm and 6am

It just wanted to let you know that you were cold. lol

Which trigger is being used? Are you using one of the speak items selected on the Locations page?

The whole speak item section is being changed to add lots of new logic options based on the weather values. Each speak item will be a HS device. You will control the speaking by setting an event action that sets the device to the value of Speak. All of the normal HS event triggers and conditions will be available so you will be able to control when it speaks. It's been tested by a few users over the last few weeks. Should be ready soon. If you would like to do some last minute testing let me know and I can send you a version with the new feature.

I didn't realize that you were talking about the alerts.
You can control the allowed speak times.
Go to the Alert Setup page and click on the button labeled Severity Options.

You can set the allowed speak times by the severity of the alert.
You can also set an override based on the Urgency of the alert.

I have created 2 places for the weatherXML.
In HSTouch I have made forecasts for today and the next 3 days for location1.
But I want to switch very easy to show location2 in HSTouch.
In the past I used a self made script to get the forecast from weeronline.nl and saved the location to show in a device. By changing the device to an other location, the script stored the weather forecast for the new location in the devices used by HSTouch. That way I could easily change forecast locations in HSTouch.
Is there a way I can do that with weatherXML?
If not, is there an easy way to 'clone' a device to an other device?

Let me make sure I am clear on what you are asking.

You want to have a device for location 1
Ex. Temperature - refID = 100

and a device for location 2
Ex Temperature - refID = 200

You are looking for a way to tap a button in HSTouch and have the temperature change from the location 1 value to the location 2 value.
And toggle each time you tap the button.

Hourly forecast in speak items

I wanted to know if we could get hourly forecast in the speak items

during the day it would be great at the top of each hour to speak the forecast for the following hour.

I am using weather underground for my weather source

The Hourly forecast is available. I need to add the variables and design the interface. It is a lot of data. The full Hourly Forecast has 240 hours and 19 pieces of information in each hour.

I'll add it to my to do list. It will be a while though. I changed positions at work and have been very busy.

Jeff, first let me say thanks for the plugin, its excellent. This is not necessarily a feature request but it may mean fixing a possible bug in the triggering from the condition device. It seems like when I use a multi-worded condition in the trigger such as "Partly Cloudy", the Plugin may interpret this as "Cloudy" and triggers the event. It's a subtle thing but I use differences between, "Partly Cloudy", "Mostly Cloudy", and "Cloudy", to trigger interior accent lighting.

Right now I am using a script to interrogate the global condition variable as a work around so if it's involved to fix, no problem.
