Same. I tried sending the Reciever some raw commands, and they all work, but the input devices don't seem to update. I'm wondering if the commands are out of snyc because I tried to change the input source on Zone 2 and the plugin shut Zone 2 off.

Still doesn't release the COM port.

Sorry this is such a pain.

I see it getting data back
Do you see any devices being updated?
I will need to investigate this
      Cheers,
      Bob

        Hey Bob;

Some devices are getting updated, like Volume, some are not, like Audio Input.

If you could, having a device that holds the raw value of data being returned, would be
helpful to me. Also having the plugin close the COM port when exiting would be much appreciated.

I realize I'm probably the only one of your users needing a RS232 connection, so I'm very thankful.

The com port should be getting closed when the plugin exits. I will have to check that
The data seems to come back differently than with the TCP connection
          Cheers,
          Bob

Oh, man.... I'm sorry. I had hoped you could just plug in the RS232 module. If you could give me the raw feed back device, I could populate the other devices with a script.

            Thanks.

Let me see what I can do
I will try my best to get to it this weekend but it will depend on what the wife has planned for me
              Cheers,

Try 2.0.40 and let me know if any difference
                  Cheers,

                    Hi Bob

Zones 1 and 2 Audio Inputs, Volume Controls, Mutes all work.

Plugin released COM port when disabled when I first disabled it, but the second time I enabled it and again disabled it, the plugin didn't close the COM port.

                    Thanks

                        Capture a debug log
                        It should be releasing it
                        Cheers,

OK I see an error in the log.
I will have a look into the code
                              Cheers,

On the shutdown of the plugin I run the hs.CloseComPort command to close the com port
I think the hs object is already gone at this point. I am not sure why that is though
                                Cheers,
