    Yes, just restore the original /etc/dhcpcd.conf (removing the lines added at end).
    The other files are OK as is.

      That is what I did, and testing it now, so far so good...

      I went with your suggestion of leaving it DHCP and reserve a static IP in the firewall.... Now I'm using pfSense and I found it possible to do it easily, which was not the case before using pfSense and only the router DHCP server configuration that was not allowing me to reserve a static IP outside of the DHCP range! Now I can do it with pfSense!

        Yep all good, did couple of times plug/unplug Ethernet cable and all still working as expected!

        Thank you so much for you help into this... And maybe the next version of Znet will use Stretch OS
