How can I learn and transmit an RF Signal?

I would like to have HomeSeer control an MCD Blind that is currently controlled by a handheld RF remote. I would like to have HomeSeer learn the various RF remote control codes, and then be able to transmit them under HomeSeer control as if I was pressing buttons on the remote. Can anyone direct me to a product that can provide that functionality?

I'm in the process of doing just that.
I have got it working by 'recording' the RF using a sound card and an RF Rx and replaying the snippet back through the sound card and a Tx. Bit of a problem with either the carrier or noise trampling all over the 433 spectrum and killing all the other Txrs such as the Oregon weather sensors. (get a USB soundcard and solder the receiver directly onto the card)

Possibly the best option is to use an Arduino or a Pi.

Try these different options for two different ways .....

I'm not sure if the rc-switch option works for all RF or just known ones.

Ideally RFXCOM could recieve / transmit RF for all sorts of devices, not just the existing list!

First thing I would do is open the remote, examine the chips, and lookup the datasheet for the RF related chips to see if they suggest what the modulation scheme is. If it's ASK or OOK, then the basic RF sniffer plot of an ASK receiver on that frequency might work (as shown on the links above). However, if it's FSK, or something more complex, you'll need better gear to capture and decode it.
