Getting Started With Insteon & Interfaces

    Hi Mark,
Hopefully this is a quick question: I can't get Insteon to recognize that there is a PLM. I'm using a 2413U, CM11A, HS2, your 2.0.0.4 plug-in, but the plugin doesn't recognize that there is a PLM. The Windows device manager recognizes COM 3 and 5, and when I unplug one, it appropriately disappears. So I'm pretty confident I have the right COM numbers entered. I installed the 3rd party drivers per your "getting started with Insteon" sticky. I initialized the powerlinc USB (see screenshot) but still get the Insteon error). Am I missing something simple?
    Thanks,
    John

what are you using the "SmartHome PowerLinc USB" plugin for? this is only needed if you are going to use the SmartHome PowerLinc USB device for x10. I think this is the problem/conflict. this plugin is grabbing com port. disable this plugin and restart

ps. you should edit out/mask your email address so it isn't picked up by spammers crawling the forum.
