Can't get VR to work

Hi Spud,

I've just purchased your plugin, installed all software needed (I think), connected a Kinect 360 and I'm not able to get any voice response. This is my situation:

- Mic array is responsive under windows (8.1) recording devices
- The kinect is recognised by your plugin (an usb ID is shown)
- Enabled VR within plugin
- Created an attention phrase 'Homeseer'
- Created an event based on a phrase 'lights on'

When I say 'Lights on' I notice a clear audio indication within 'recording devices' but nothing happens.

What could be wrong?

Hi,

I assume you say "Homeseer, Lights on" and not just "Lights on", you need to say the attention phrase before each command.

To debug VR problems the easiest is to start the plugin with the "developer mode" checkbox ticked, then set the log level to Trace, in the command window of the plugin you will see what grammar rules are loaded and what the kinect understand when you say something.

If you can't figure it out by yourself please post your logs
