    INSTALLATION / CONFIGURATION

    System Requirements:
This plugin is for HS3 or HS3PRO. It works with both Windows and Linux versions.
It is designed to interface HomeSeer with Sinope Thermostats, it only supports RF version of these thermostats You need one or several Sinope thermostat as well as one GT125 web interface.

    Plugin Installation:
Download and install from the updater (Thermostat/HVAC section) or download package from the Beta Testing thread and follow instructions to install.

    Plugin Configuration
    • Start the plugin from the "PLUG-INS > Manage" page, wait a few seconds for the plugin to initialize
    • Go to the config page "PLUG-INS > Sinope > Config" and fill in the IP Address and ID of your GT125 interface as it appears on the back of the device:

    • Click the Authenticate button in the confg page, then press the Web button on your GT125 interface.
    • Go to each of you thermostats and press simultaneously the up and down button. They should then appear in the Thermostats table like in the screenshot below.
    • The default name for a thermostat is its ID, but you can rename it to anything you want.

If everything is ok, the plugin should have created a set of devices for each thermostat, as well as a global GT125 device that allow to set the entire home to Home or Away mode

    FEATURES

Once the devices are created their status/values are updated every X minutes (X being configurable from the config page) with the actual data from your Sinope thermostats.

You can use the devices status as triggers in events and the device controls as actions. For example here is an event that changes all your thermostat to away mode when HS3 detects that your security system has been armed.

      HSTOUCH AND IMPERIHOME INTEGRATION

The plug-in implements the thermostat API so that your thermostats will automatically appear in HSTouch and/or ImperiHome, and you will be able to monitor and control them from your mobile devices.

Here is for example a screenshot of a dashboard page of ImperiHome:
