Can't Add New 200 Series Switches

Well, I've tried everything I know to do and I just can't get these new switches included.

I notice once the failure takes place, the green light on the Z-Net goes out (Not red or green) however the system still receives signals from other devices.

I've restarted HS and the Z-Net after each attempt.

Well I think I have it figured out.. Had to kill power to the switches and power them back up. Once I did that they included with out issue..

    Strange Indeed.

Not that I recommend this for anyone else (due to liability issues) but I always include mine with a stinger cord wired directly into the switch before I install them. I hate getting everything installed and then having something like that happen. Enerwave scene controllers are notorious for that kind of thing.

I also keep my Z-Nets (I have four) attached to a USB battery pack (that is then powered) so I can take them right to the device for inclusion / exclusion if needed. Very handy for locks, for example. It also serves to hold them up if there is a momentary power interruption.

Well this still isn't going too well.

In setting up an event for testing the LED functionality, I noticed that I didn't have the "HS-WX200 Actions" under Z-Wave Actions.

I performed a exclusion of the existing WD100 switch, which I confirmed was successful.

I see that this switch was added as a Jasco Products... Arrrrg.

This switch was added via the Z-Tool+ so I guess I get to go through this mess again to see if it will include correctly via the web UI..

So even after getting the switch to include correctly as a HomeSeer switch, I still can't get the HS-WX200 Actions option under Z-Wave Actions..

          I'm stuck at the moment.

          Any idea's?

I know this required the latest (released) version of the Z-Wave plugin. What version do you have?

Ah, sorry, re-read your first post:

I cannot tell from your screenshot, but the actions only show up after you choose a network.

Oh my word, that was it Randy! Doh.. I think I was so focused on the instruction set, I missed the obvious.

                Thanks

Thanks for your help, I completely missed that I needed to select the network first, which of course is not in any of the documentation, but something I should have known..

I would recommend updating to the latest Z-Wave beta plug-in (ends in .199). That includes a bug fix and also a few GUI fixes for the WX200 menu options.

FWIW- the product page does indicate Z-Wave plug-in v3.0.1.190 or higher should be installed.

Thanks Mark, I was @ version .199 before my endeavors today. My only real problem was with inclusion. The other was my stupidity..
