Anyone know of a wireless sensor for door/window that would work in the cold using RFXCOM 433 or 310 mhz receiver? I have used DS10A's in the past but do not work in the cold temps under 10 degrees.

I suppose a 433.92MHz transmitter in the DS10A will solve this problem. Here is a (in Dutch) description how to modify the DS10A
http://www.domotica.famschenk.eu/DS10A_op_433Mhz.html
This sensor can be used with Ext2 firmware on the RFXtrx433E or RFXrec433E:

Enable Lighting4 + X10 in the RFXtrx.
Or the Visonic Powercode sensor (315MHz version with RFXtrx315 or 433.92MHz version with the RFXrec433(E) or RFXtrx433(E)

Thanks Bert, I am going to take your first suggestion and modify/update my existing 310 mhz sensors.
I ordered 315 Mhz Rf tx Modules .99 cents each and ordered 310 SAW resonators 2.50 each from here http://www.cdadapter.com/x10wb.htm
I will change the 315 mhz resonators to the 310's in hopes that they will be frequency stable across a larger range temperature than the existing arrangement.
