    Help ?

    I've had this plugin for many years. I recently enabled it and saw calls from about two years ago on it.

    I decided to reinstall it (not really removing anything) and just tested it.

    I enabled debug and do not see any debug data from it. I also do not see anything in the reports from my testing for the last few minutes.

    I have a W2C device configured on my line #1. I only utilize it for Steve's CID application along with using a netCID box on line #1.

    I'm thinking maybe I changed something in the Homeseer phone settings such that I mucked up the BL Outgoingcalls set up.

    Any suggestions to get this plugin working again?

    The INI configuration file is:
    [Settings]
    debugLevel=true
    loadSystemTrayIcon=false
    helpFolder=/BLHelp/
    sendToBLBroadcastClients=false
    lastXOutgoingCallersNumber=10
    lastOutgoingCallerDeviceCode=Y5
    lastXOutgoingCallersDeviceCode=Y6
    logToDatabase=false
    daysToKeepCallLogs=365
    Here are the HS log entries that I saw while dialing out just now. I have debug enabled in the plugin. Even though I have the DB functions off its still purging the DB (think its still there though). I guess it means that the plugin is doing something.

    I remember many years ago switching to this plugin from Jim Doolittle's outgoing call plugin and wondering if I should go back to using it instead?

    Its not like I really utilize it but like having some sort of log for outgoing calls.

    Debug logging goes to BLOutgoingCalls-Detailed.log in your HS root folder

    HS must be set to log outgoing calls or the plugin will not find anything.

      Yup, all of the detail for my testing outgoing calls is there in the detailed log and the regular log. I can see all of my calls in the regular log.

      Odd though why am I seeing these entries in the BL Outgoing call logs and not in the HSPhone CID outgoing call log?

      I have HSPhone CID set up for incoming and outgoing calls and only see incoming calls in the CID entries. So then my HSPhone configuration is not working. I do remember seeing the outgoing calls in the CID.

      Thanks Bob; will play with HS Phone today and wondering why the BL outgoing logs are looking good?

      Odd; just looked at the "callers.log" (think this is HSPhone) and that is showing both incoming and outgoing calls on my line #1.

      (side thing and unrelated: Seabios is booting W7; major milestone today with the Joggler)

        No problem. It has been capturing outgoing calls here for years

          Bob,

          I am now seeing the outgong calls in the HSPhone caller log. I am seeing the outgoing call in the two defined variables but nothing in the reports at this time. I checked the debug and the calls are there. The BLOutgoingCalls-OutgoingCalls.log shows the outgoing call. I have the database functions disabled.

          I saw this in the debug output file:

          8/25/2012 8:30:27 PM : v1.0.14.0 - Get_All_Outgoing_Calls() started
          8/25/2012 8:30:27 PM : v1.0.14.0 - Get_All_Outgoing_Calls(): ERROR - Caught this exception - Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\HomeSeer 2\BLOutgoingCalls-OutgoingCalls.log'.
          8/25/2012 8:30:27 PM : v1.0.14.0 - Get_All_Outgoing_Calls() finished
          8/25/2012 8:30:27 PM : v1.0.14.0 - Update_Last_X_Outgoing_Callers_Device_Code() started
          8/25/2012 8:30:27 PM : v1.0.14.0 - Does_Device_Code_Exist() started
          Is there anything specfic I should look for in the debug related to the outgoing call report?

            The reports are based off of the database so if no database is logging then no reports.
            It has been a while since I looked at this plugin but I believe that is why
