    Triggering in Events...

... seems to have gotten trickier in HS3. For instance if I want to test 2 conditions (AND IF) and I start with:

IF BLSecurity: Security Mode Changed to ARMED

then if I want to add a condition, my only options are:

    The Time is...
    The Day or Date is...
    A Device's value is...
    A Counter's value is...
    A Timer's value is...
    The Moon phase is... (seriously!)
    A Telephone Event occurs
    The Group Conditions are...

No more BLSecurity triggers and if I use "A Device's value is..." I have to know the various values of the BLSecurity devices I want to test, their "state".

I think I can do what I want to do in scripts and I could set some virtual devices up to test, but seems like there should be an easier way to do this:

    ARMED Alert Event:
    If an alert is raised
And if the security mode is ARMED (there's not now an IS..., only a CHANGED TO...)
    Then do one thing

    SLEEP Alert Event:
    If an alert is raised
And if the security mode is SLEEP
    Then do some other thing

    and likewise for PERIMETER mode

    What am I not getting?

    Regards
    Michael

I'm having the same challenge. Any ideas? Anyone? Bueller?

No replies here. I hope someone figured this out because I am trying to do the same thing now. Where can I get the values to use? I checked the documents and see nothing about it.

Blade has his own help desk portal. I'd suggest contacting him through that.
