Another entry on this old thread :-)
      I still haven't moved to HS3 as I haven't had the time - so still on HS2.
I'm using Jeff Volp's X10 interface which is totally great and he gives excellent support.
My X10 started going down every day or so - so I put a comms monitor on the RS232 line to see what was happening (or not).
It went down again yesterday and I found that nothing was being communicated to the interface on RS232. Disabling and re-enabling the plugin got it working (only with Edge or Internet Explorer of course - can't change setting with Chrome).
I was then able to reliably repeat the problem by trying to control X10 from my Android device using HSTouch version 1.0.117 - every time. And this is the recommended version :-(
This problem does not happen (for me anyway) with HSTouch version 1.35. I'm running this version on an Android Remix with a really nice 10" HDMI touch display, and apart from minor scaling problems it's good. However V.1.35 is no good on other devices including the Homeseer Table Android unit as the scaling is totally wrong. V1.0.117 fixes the scaling but kills X10! Ce'st la vie. Will have to write my own app :-( In the meantime I'm using Alexa with a Java Amazon Echo bridge that sends HTTP commands to tenHsServer - instant and good!
