    help me understand Aeon Labs Meter

    Hi everyone,

    I just bought and installed the Aeon Labs Meter gen 2.

    Can someone help me to calculate the kwh i'm comsuming ? (because there are 2 devices..

    Can i create a virtual device with script ?

          If I remember correctly, this device can connect up to three phases.
          But here I have only two phases with two clamps on them. The third ports have no clamp attached to it, but I guess you can have a third clamp if you have a 3 phases configuration.
          In the interface of HS, I configured only to show me the two used phase so I don't see the third one that I'm not using.

            I think you are right about the phases.

            I'm in contact with the manufacturer and hope to have a reply on how to interpret the results.

                I think you're right when you say you'd have to build a script or something to combine the data. With that said, if you go to view>Energy, there are canned energy graphs which combine the devices.

                  yes it does give you information but is there a way we can put this information in hstouch ?(with graph)

                    You are correct.
                    Each ct records the power on its phase. Total household kWh is the sum of these 2.
                    Not sure why you need a virtual device, but yes you can. I use a script to reset each kwh reading to zero after recording them hourly
