    check this out, can't wait for these readers to get so cheap I can install one in every room, track people movement.

    But wouldn't it make more sense to give everyone a rf tag instead? And have readers in strategic places around the house.

    I just wish I could find some decent tags and readers that worked with a greater range than most. iButtons looked really good, until I saw they required physical contact to make a reading. The only ones I can find that work at more than a few inches are just insanely expensive.

      thats what I am talking about, RFID tags support longer ranges than the ibutton, but the concept is the same.
