    Omni Plugin Omnitstat Homeseer Touch

Recreating my OmniStat Homeseer Touch screen.

Not sure on the interest here relating to Homeseer Touch thermostat integration with the Omni Plugin.

It is now mangled a bit with changes to the Homeseer Pro box.

I would like to post the XML base template for the thermostat if I get this done correctly. I am trying to keep the variables neat.

    Thermostat basics are:

    1 - Current temperature
2 - Heat or cooling temperature settings
3 - up or down buttons working
    4 - hold / auto button working

    ===============================
    Optional stuff
5 - Current conditions (small image)
6 - Omni aux temp stuff
    7 - 1-wire aux temp stuff

Played a bit this morning redoing some things. Fonts are off and the touchscreen doesn't look aesthetically pleasing anymore.

Using thermostat temperature, basement temperature, attic temperature, 2nd floor hallway temperature and master bedroom temperature.
This might be too much and a bit cluttered ? From weather just using a current condition icon/image.

I'm very interested. I gave up on hs3touch design some time ago, would like to get back into it properly. That thermostat screen would be a nice feature.

Did an XML extract of the new thermostat stuff and it doesn't make sense to me.

Tried posting XML but doesn't look right. Might zip and attach it.

Thinking of editing the thermostat template such that it is a full screen display for my touchscreen which is 800X480.

Redid thermostat png file to fit 800 X 480 screen. Easier to read.

Using WeatherXML current condition icon and current condition text in scrolling mode.

          Modded the above some more.

I do not like the interface so switching to something like this:

Modded above some. Using a second screen for a mode button thing.

              Hi Pete

I rather like the Omni Stat2 on 15-Nov you did in the cream color, better than than the blue. It has seems to have better overall contrast. Just my take.

              Cheers, Gary

                Thanks Gary!

I am really bad with colors here. I have now been able to replicate all of the button functions.

Wishing that PCA (API) worked better with all of the functions of the Omnistat Thermostat.

Ideally the condition snapshot would be a JPG outdoor webcam picture. (IE: we had a little blizzard here yesterday).

Noticed that the Omnitouch 5.7e (or Omnitouch Pro Touch software) does it totally different with two sections (cooling and heating) and it is way simpler looking. I had originally put the mode buttons (cool, heat, auto, off) on a separate screen. I tried the overlay thing and it doesn't work like I wanted it to. I could create duplicate screens with two layers of buttons.

Almost see in black and white.

I redid that one too such that it looks like this. I added another little blue window to the template on this one.
I do not know how to replicate the rotary dial on this one though.

Here is the OmniTouch 5.7e (Omnitouch Pro) thermostat screen...not sure how the Omnitouch 7 thermostat screen (android) looks like.
Notice the two up and down buttons on the screen; one for heating and one for cooling.
