    weatherXML Beta

This thread will be to list the changes for the beta versions of weatherXML.
New beta versions will be available in the HS updater in the Beta section near the bottom of the list.

    3.0.0.64
This is a huge change. Please make a backup of all your files before testing this version. The tracking of weatherXML HS devices will be tracked by the device address rather than trying to keep them straight in an ini file. You may have to delete and re-add some devices.

    * Added a setting to control how many of the backup files to keep. Oldest ones are deleted as new ones are saved.
    * Fixed a bug with the download backup that was saving the wrong file for the Alerts backup.
    * The map rotation device option is now hidden until at least one map has been setup.
    * Added setting to allow selecting which locations will create Global Variables.
    * Now tracks the device refIDs based on actual devices instead of storing the refID in an ini file.
    * Added the ability to set an image width or height for display on the weatherXML users Map page.
    * Added the ability to resize a downloaded Map image
    * Fixed the Event device references to work correctly
    * Fixed the PHLocation dropdowns to use the Location 1 first setting.

    3.0.0.68

    * More changes to the functions for standardizing the device addresses.
    * Fixed an issue with the image rotator device that would not display the dual image from NOAA correctly.

So far in my testing, this version is running with no issues from the change. If no more issues are reported, I will move this out of beta this weekend.

        3.0.0.71

        Maps
        * Radar is now saved as Radar_1.gif and a second copy with the date in the name to prevent caching in HSTouch.

        Location Page
        * The Database link on the schedule page no longer shows when no location is set to use an Access database.
        * Add a time format dropdown to the location setup

        Tide Information
        * Added Tide Information devices. Setup is on the HSTouch tab but can be used anywhere that you want to display the information.
        * Tide information is no longer stored in an ini file. It is stored in the device plugin extra data.

        Misc Devices
        * The Last Spoken Log device now has a weatherXML tab that displays all of the current log entries

The tide information is the biggest change. It works like before. Setup a location and set the option "Use Tide Info instead of normal forecast" to Yes. Then you can go to the HSTouch tab to select the devices that you want to use.

The next beta release is a rewrite of the Maps section.
The ini file will no longer be used.
All maps will now be saved as devices.

On first install of the new version the map device information will be copied from the ini file. The map information will now be edited from the HS device management page. Click on the map name and select the weatherXML device.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want a map to be setup in the new version, make sure that you have selected the map to be a device. This should be done before you install the next beta version. (3.0.0.74)

I am just about finished with the documentation and will put the new version in the beta updater when finished.

                * No longer using an ini file for maps.
                * The Map Schedule is set by location, instead of just one schedule does all locations.
                * The Map Group parent device now has buttons to add a new map and to Update Group Maps.
                * The forecast devices now replace the wind direction abbreviations with the full spelled out text. Ex SW - South west
                * The Map Group parent device has a setting to control which directory the maps are downloaded to. The directory must be under the images\weatherXML directory.
                * Added the ability to sort the order of the maps on the user map page.

                * Added Logging Level to Event Actions. You can now set Event actions to set logging level to Debugging, Do a download and import, set logging level back to Errors.
                * Temperature devices in the HSTouch Daily Group now create a Status Graphic for each 10 degree range from -100 to 100 giving the ability to use the Satus graphic in HSTouch and have the thermometer icon change to match the temperature.

                3.0.0.75
