Can't set Gmail Password.

I've recently done a completely fresh install of HS3.152

When I try and add a 'Gmail Password' I get the popup window to enter my password. When I enter a password for example a 8 character password, after I select the 'submit' button the 'Gmail password' field temporarily changes to 8 characters before going back to a 4 character password.

needless to say gmail is not working. The log says
Exception sending email via GMail (To:xxxxxl@xxxxx.com, cc:, bcc:, Sub:HS3 Device Error, Attach = 5.7.14

It seems as if the 'Gmail Password' is hard coded or fixed.

Any ideas ?

Hi Phill,

Any password will only show as 4 dots, so that is normal. Given the error message, it sounds like a different issue.
