I love the test button, great idea!
    Raven,

you will be able to do Fire and Police with the custom button script i provided. I don't want to make them a permanent part of the plugin because these panel buttons can be different on everyone's panel. My btn A & B are Away & Stay respectively. i don't have a Fire or Police button.

I found a few bugs (nothing major), so i thought i would put out a new version. Any new feature requests for the next release?

I have a request (see the end of the following thread) by two users for a special system trigger that will trigger when the panel changes from an armed status to any of the disarmed statuses.

          http://forums.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=137897

My plan is to add an additional (*Disarmed*) value to the "System becomes" drop down list on the System Trigger page. All the other system triggers will remain the same.

          comments or additional suggestions welcome

            Feature Request

I would like to be able to use the keyfob to activate a Zwave switch that controls the front porch lights. It does not appear that the plug-in is receiving the code from the ademco panel when I push the button on the keyfob.

do you have the keyfob represented as a zone in the plugin

                Keyfob

Yes, the keyfob loop is programed as a zone into the ademco and HS plug-in. Though I have watched the log and nothing appears when I push the button on the remote. I am able to control the Zwave light swith from the HS device status. I am also able to have the lights auto turn on when the vista is disarmed between sundown and sunrise. That all works great. The only thing that I can figure is that HS is not seeing the signal from the ademco when the keyfob button is pressed. Therefore, it doesn't know to send the signal to the Zwave to turn on the lights.

how about if you use hyperterminal or some other serial port tool to watch the ad2usb com traffice

                      Hey Mark,

I can see RFX messages when hyperterm'd in. Though I do not see any messages in the HS log. I can disarm or arm the system fine, but don't see any RFX messages related to that either.

Debugging is on in the Vista interface in HS.

The version of HS is 2.3.0.19
The version of the plugin is 1.2.0.0

                        Chad,
If you want to use the RFX msgs to trigger, then you will need to upgrade to 1.2.3. avail here:
                        http://forums.homeseer.com/showpost....6&postcount=26

please note this is still in development, you should read through the this thread to understand this capability:
                        http://forums.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=145071

The thing i don't understand is if you have the keyfob registered as a zone in the panel and plugin, why aren't you seeing standard panel msgs (not an RFX msg)

can you tell me what type/model# of keyfob you have and how you have it programmed into the panel

please post your hyperterminal log entries when you pressed the keyfob butn.

I'm using Honeywell 5804 keyfobs (2 of them).

I see the AUI msgs which i don't currently parse (i don't think they have been fully decoded yet). I don't have one so i can't help there.

what about standard window and door zones, do you see messages like this for these zones?

Ok, Sean said a typical keyfob keypress will not generate standard panel msgs, only RFX msgs. so we are on the right path.

you should be able to setup a new hs device via the plugin that will track keyfob press.

please be aware keyfobs only send an ON msg, so you will also need to add
your own event to turn the hs device Off after a few seconds or whatever.
