Playbar w Connect:Amp in surround w sub

Hi - I have a Playbar paired with a SUB and with a Connect:AMP providing the surround for the room that it is in.

The sonos plugin is seeing all three as separate devices. Though the Sonos software correctly sees this as 1 "room".

What is the best way to handle this with homeseer. If I just use the playbar device, will the rest be taken care of properly? Thanks.

I wasn't aware that you can pair a Connect:Amp with a playbar or is this grouped? Maybe screenshot of Sonos App or log from PI (do a restart).

Yep - it's pretty cool. Scenario is that I have in ceiling speakers I want to act as surrounds in the Playbar config, so I power those with a Connect:Amp.

Interesting, even more interesting that they would not support this via their normal apps ....

Thanks for trace BUT this should be a trace with the debug log for the PI on (not superdebug!).

I have all the HW so if I find some time, I might try to set it up myself. I have a pre-order in for the new "Beam" which is supposed to show up next week and that would be the perfect target for me to form a surround pairing with a Connect:Amp.

It indeed didn't get it all. Perhaps easier to turn the log to disk flag on, restart PI or HS3, wait until all intialize, now turn log to disk off which will flush all log to disk and upload the debug log which you can find in <hs root>\html\sonos\logs

Ok, this is the proper trace.
Good news is that everything is mostly OK and the treatment of this special configuration follows mainly the same principles as it would when you were to pair the playbar with two S1s.
Now, what exactly do you think isn't working? Even if they are paired you see all the players in homeseer. I do try to rename the players with a suffix LR and RR (Left and Right Rear) so you don't see xx players with the same name. This seems not to work in this special config but all else as far as I can tell looks OK.
So what you should see:

• the Playbar with the original name ie Living room
• The Sub should have no devices anyway
• The Connect:Amp I think is also called Living Room that should have been something Living Room_Lx
• The paired players should show "paired" in their status

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. The main thing I thought wasn't working was that I was seeing all of them as separate devices (since in the Sonos app, they show as one). If it's by design that you show multiple (not sure why you'd want that?), then no issue necessarily.

I'm heading out of town but when I get back I'll do a full test pass with them to see if I see any issues.

Not sure I follow you without some screenshots but for now, look at the player table, look for the playbar and ONLY add that to your linkgroup and none of the other paired players.

I have the beam but I've had time to look at the code nor can I currently post to the updater due to some administrative stuff between me and HS

In particular, the edit selections dialog illustrates the problem (there are two Living Room entries - in the shown config there is one selected and one available, but no combination of selecting those seems to work).

I see. I can post here just the Sonos executable and you can download and overwrite. I'm adding the beam support to the PI but realized I never added the Playbase to it, and I need to the model number. Anyone has a playbase? Can you look at your player table and let us know what the model number is.

Sure - you mean you already have an exe that contains a fix for the config w/ playbar + connect:amp? That's service! Am happy to download the exe; though any thoughts on when the logistics w/ you and Homeseer will be worked out and if that could cause a difficulty upgrading later?

Sorry, but I don't have a playbase. Only a playbar. I can send the model of that if it would still be useful?
