So as of today, my county is allowing us to be able to collect rain water. It's something I have always considered, and now that I don't have to be under the radar anymore, I am really thinking about it.
I am curious to see if others here are doing the same thing and how you have it setup. My main goal would be to use it to water the plants. I already have zones separate from my main irrigation for plants, so the tie in wouldn't be too difficult.
My thoughts being... just a big tank with a cover and a cheap harbor freight pump.
And of course any tie into HS would be good, like water levels (probably ardiuno with sonar sensor).
