I disabled the plugin and re-enabled it. That seemed to fix the problem and assign the correct ip address.

Glad to hear the restart solve the issue. Normally the plugin should do it at the first discovery, without the need of reregistering the bridge, but appearantly it did not do it right in your case, only after a restart.

I will try and look into this to see if I can prevet the error from occuring in the future,

This has happened again and I can't get it fixed as I could before. Most of my automations are broken now. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I have the Hue Hub assigned to a static port since this happened the last time.

Same error here, I also attempted to de-register, but it's listed as disabled. The plugin is not updating with new lights, and does not reset after a plugin or homeseer restart.

I just had this happen but can't remember the order to do things but I think it was this.

I disabled the plugin
Then I clicked the hue bridge from
The devices screen.
Then I clicked delete
Then I re enabled the plugin.

It found the new ip of the bridge and all was well.

Then I clicked the hue bridge from
The devices screen.
Then I clicked delete
Then I re enabled the plugin.

It found the new ip of the bridge and all was well.

I tried this again today and worked this time. Thanks for posting it.

There's still a bug in the plugin as we shouldn't have to do this. This is the second time for me.

Sorry all for my late reply.. there were some personal challenges for me when i got back home. Those kept me away for a long time.

I will try to recheck what happens when a router is reset/changed and IP changes as indeed it comes back over and over. The problem is that I have tried creating this issue here at home and everything just works normal then. There must be a change I am not doing here.....

Still trying to cause it here, so I could solve it, so far no luck for me yet. It is hard to guess what might be happening.

But I am glad the workaround works, so use that if it happens again.

I think great news on this issue. I was able to copy the issue here locally and found the fault. I corrected it and tested the same situation. It works correct now!

The solution will be in the next version. I guess it will apear next week.

I am on version 1.1.2.8.

Tried to restart pluigin and restart HS, no help.
