RFXCOM not listening to Oregon WMR300

I have installed a new Oregon Scientific WMR300 weather station with the intent of linking it to my HS3 home control system. I have the weather station working and sending wireless weather information to the weather station console. I have installed a new RFXCOM RFXrec433 and the RFXCOM plugin. The RFXCOM plugin created the RFXCOM Interface Panel device (green check mark # 0 5/22/2017). I created a RFXrec device (RFXrec433, X_TRX(1)Q, com 6) and checked the Oregon Scientific box, it reports on line. When I go to the RFXCOM input devices page under the RFXCOM plugin it doesn't show any sensors. I have pressed the sensor reset and the refresh box on the RFXCOM input devices page. I also set the weather station console next to the RFXrec433 and it receives the sensor updates so it looks like it is in signal range.

Don't know what else to do. Please help.

    HomeSeer: HS3 Standard V 3.0.0.318
    OS Windows 10
    RFXCOM V 30.0.0.35

WMR300 is not supported because it operates at: 868/915MHz

Please see chapter 2 in the RFXtrx User Guide for the list of supported devices.

Do you have a receiver that will work on that frequency?

I purchased the OS weather station because you had a receiver that would work with OS weather stations. Maybe I can return everything. What a pain and $$$$

No, however, there maybe other options to integrate with Homeseer.

Jon00 has a few plugin that integrate with Weather Station Software or through weather underground.

I was able to return the Oregon WMR300. I'm looking at a Acurite Model: 995WES, 01019M weather station it uses a 433 frequency. Will the RFXCOM plugin work with any of these?

                  Thanks

                    Hi

I haven't looked at what is supported by the homeseer plugin; however, this does not appear on the supported weather sensors list.

                    http://www.rfxcom.com/WebRoot/StoreN...User_Guide.pdf

As indicated there is other way to integrate weather stations and you don't need to use the RFXtrx either.

You can you several supported weather station software such as Weather Display or Cumulus and Jon00 has plugins for both, or you can send data to Weather Underground which also integrates with HS3. If there is a local weather station close, you might not even need your own personal weather station at all.

So there are multiple options that you could look at and each have a degree of complexity and variety of costs.

Please see chapter 2 in the RFXtrx User Guide for the list of supported devices.

All devices supported by the old OSB or LAN RFXCOM and RFXtrx/RFXrec are supported by the plug-in.
