Recreated UPB lightswitch device/unit in HS3.

On, Off and Dim.

On and Off work fine.

Dim dims for a few seconds then shuts off the device.

I did the update last night, everything seems to work except now when i turn on my lights they turn off 2 seconds later. I was using the link device feature in homeseer to control my insteon lights through the Leviton touchpad. when i disable this feature the light stop turning off but, i lose control through my Leviton touchpads.

Any suggestions? What change that would cause this feature to stop working?

It's likely the same issue reported above. Can you post your log snippet where you turned it on and it turned off?

Rob,

More info on this for you. I have Z-Wave devices on the HT-ZEE that I have virtual devices on the Omni for control that are exhibiting the same issues others are having.

Configured three light switches for testing (need to do more to configure one Zigbee lamp switch and will add maybe today).

I can control same light switch via Homeseer 3

X10 - CM11A plugin
UPB - UPB plugin
ZWave - HS3 ZWave

Zigbee - OP2 Zigbee controller only.

Tested one ZWave unit connected to the OmniPro VRCOP.
Same device plugged in to the HS3 ZNet RPi ON, OFF and Dim work fine.

Another update. My Z-Wave devices on the HT-ZEE are fine as long as I don't link them to the device tied to the Omni panel. Once I link them, the issue occurs.

Here using the VRCOP with the Omni Pro 2 and ZNet with HS3 testing one node #16.
Both HS3 ZNet connection to node 16 and VRCOP (Omni Plugin) are configured and connected.

1 - ZNet works fine with ON, OFF and DIM
2 - VRCOP works fine with ON and OFF. Dim works for a couple of seconds then lamp goes off.

Note that status of ZNet node isn't seen when sending a command via VRCOP and vice versa.

Curiousity question to Rob.

Why is the ON button on the left instead of the right?

HS3 X10, UPB, ZWave plugins have the ON button on the right.

I should have caught that especially since all of the others are oriented differently.

That reminds me of a a white paper I read many years ago from IBM on UI design and functionality. It was so detailed on how to align prompts, labels, buttons, etc. It was interesting at the time.
