    12th of September, 2015 Update

    The plugin is running fine this morning. I see no errors in the Homeseer logs. (debug though would be a nice option).

    While getting to YR plugin configuration is a bit slow it is working today just fine.

    Note too that I am running the plugin on Homeseer 3 Pro v.199 Homeseer 3 Pro Touch server V.72, Homeseer 3 touch clients V.32 (and designer V.32).

    Hardware base is a Haswell iSeries mITX board with 16Gb of memory. OS base is Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit.

    It looks like the GIF file stuff is working fine using the device images in Homeseer touch in Wintel. I still have yet to test on an Android tablet.

    Did some quickie speed testing and the latency here to there could be an issue when configuring the plugin.

      I'm trying to get this to work again on a windows client. I have made a radar.html file under html/images/YR/radar.html

      <html lang="en">
      <head>
      <META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT=600>
      </head>
      <body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
      <img src="http://api.yr.no/weatherapi/radar/1.4/?radarsite=southwest_norway;type=reflectivity;content=animat ion;size=large" height="50%" width="50%"></img>
      </body>
      </html>
      But how can I use this in designer?

        You should be able to add this as any other html file in hstouch, put the URL in the text property of a text box.

            You need to use the full URL: Http://server or IPort/full path

                The port is only needed if you have configured your HS system for something else than port 80.

                Everything you put in the html folder of homeseer is available through the homeseer webserver.

                  I don't get what I am doing wrong. I have made a html file with

                  <html lang="en">
                  <head>
                  <META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT=600>
                  </head>
                  <body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
                  <img src="http://api.yr.no/weatherapi/radar/1.4/?radarsite=southwest_norway;type=reflectivity;content=animat ion;size=large" height="50%" width="50%"></img>
                  </body>
                  </html>
                  Opening this file alone shows the radar at full screen.

                  Putting this like http://ipadressort/html/images/YR/radar.html gives me a blank picture. putting http://api.yr.no/weatherapi/radar/1....ion;size=large shows the image properly.

                  any idea on why?

                    Aha, sorry. Did not read your html file in detail... Yes this would be the case as in your html file it looks like you have a space in animation?

                      I tried changing this to the proper link, but still same problem. I have used my HS3 port also.

                      Code:
                      <html lang="en">
                      <head>
                      <META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT=600>
                      </head>
                      <body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
                      <img src="http://api.yr.no/weatherapi/radar/1.4/?radarsite=southwest_norway;type=reflectivity;content=animation;size=large" height="100%" width="100%"></img>
                      </body>
                      </html>

                        I think maybe the reason is that you need to adjust the URL to your html file.

                        Everything located in the HTML folder is found under the root of your HS3 web browser.

                        meaning the correct path to a file located under "HS3/html/images/YR/radar.html would be http://ipadress/images/YR/radar.html

                        (if you have another port than port 80, then you need to add this port behind the ipaddress.)

                          I found the problem just before you posted now

                          The reason was that i was using /html/images/YR..... but it should be /images/YR.... without the /html....

                              the option are (from documentation):

                              size (mandatory)

                              Size of image. Note that size 'normal' means that the size of the image maps correctly to grid of the data source ( one pixel for one data point ). Sizes small, normal and large are available for only some radar types.

                              Values: small, large and normal
                              The URL already uses "large"
