    lost all configuration--help please

    homeseer was shutting down prior to updating to new version.

    It was in the phase of "backing up database"
    my son switched off computer at that time.

    when homeseer restarted, it updated to latest version but i lost all my devices and events---help please!!!

    Here is a copy of my log when i restart homeseer--shows several errors.
    none of my devices show up now

      There should be 10 copies of your config database in the config/backup directory. Try these databases.

        Look in the Homeseer/Config/Backup folder. You should find up to 10 backup copies of your database. Find the latest one BEFORE the restart.

        Shutdown HS.
        Copy the backup database to the Config folder.
        Rename your current database. (Sample.OLD, for example.)
        Rename the backup to the original name of the running database. (e.g. Sample.mdb)
        Restart HS.
        That should get you back to where you were.

            consider running a daily backup of your hs directory as well.

            :-)
            Tasker, to a person who does Homeautomation...is like walking up to a Crack Treatment facility with a truck full of 3lb bags of crack. Then for each person that walks in and out smack them in the face with an open bag.
