    Z wave incursion / exclusion

    Hi all

I have purchase a secondhand z wave module that has not been excluded from the original network as the seller has dismantled it all.

From what I am lead to believe there is now no way I can include it into mine!

    Suggestions please

    Cheers

That should not be a problem. Just exclude it first to reset it.

It doesn't have to be on your net to be excluded.

          Look up original mfg'r documentation

Or email their support. Many Zwave devices have ways to "factory/default reset"

When possible, always factory reset devices when reinstalling, moving, rebuilding network, etc.

What Morten wrote works at least 90% of the time with Z-Trollers
