I 've put up a version with more logging, just for testing this error. Can you please try this one and sent me the logging during the poll

The file is located here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...HarmonyHub.exe

I think the error was ME or user error.

I was hoping for a working (vmware) image off working 64 bit Homeseer system.

I just created one for you, Ubuntu 16.04.

                  File: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ef1s7enktbogu7j/hs3.zip?dl=0
                  User: hs3
                  Password: hs3
Homeseer is installed in /usr/local/Homeseer (run "go")

Sorry that the extracted file is a bit big - I forgot to "holepunch" it before downloading it...

Have you ever tried it with the standard harmonyhubcontrol_linux.exe, because in the Ubuntu image you sent me it just works.

I tried it in august and ran into the problem of the exe being 32-bit only. I've been watching this thread (http://board.homeseer.com/showpost.p...4&postcount=63) for any follow up, but haven't seen any news there or any information that the plugin now is 64-bit compatible.

I just did a new test and you're right, it's working now!
Had to do a "chmod +x" on the exe to get it working, but other than that it seems fine now.

Glad to hear it is working

Now it should work on all platforms supported bij HomeSeer

One question for the Linux guru's. How can I solve the fact that every Linux user have to do a "chmod +x"?
                        Regards,

I'm not familiar with the plugin-development of Homeseer, but perhaps you need the last bit in the install-file to be 18 instead of 16 for that file?
                          http://homeseer.com/support/homeseer/HS3/SDK/copy.htm

The file is an EXE file and needs to be registered by calling the EXE file with the switch /regserver.
I would expect that on Linux, the installer would do a "chmod +x" on a file with that bit set?

Another option is to include a script that simply performs the "chmod +x", using bit 8, perhaps?

Ok I'' give it a try.

Any updates on the chmod +x in the install script? I am running HomeSeer from a docker container, running the chmod +x is not really possible from the container like that, but it appears like its not executable in the current installer.
