I just downloaded BLConnect 2.0.14.0 from the updater.
Installed, Enabled it and restarted HS3
Then installed BLConnect on my Android Samsung Gallaxy S5 (Android 5.0)
When I started the app it asked for The server url and port.
I only want to test internally on WIFI so I entered the internal url
http:/nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn:81 and port number 2559 and my SSID.
The message would not go away until I also entered an external url.
I entered a bogus one.
I assume the app is smart enough to use WIFI if available.
My problem:
I get a popup on the android device That says "BLControl is initializing with the server...please wait."
It won't connect! and I can not dismiss this popup.
The icon in the upper left is grayed out. If I close the app and restart I just get the popup again.
I am not sure how long this initialization should take.
My only clue that it is trying is the WIFI icon on the android status bar at the top.
I saw an old post that seem to indicate that the icon at the left top will get you back to the configuration
page but does not work for me.
Not sure if this has to do with android 5.0. Based on the date of this old post it must have been an older version of android.
How do I get it to connect!!
And how do I get back to the config page on the Android app?
Debug log is attached.
Thanks
Tom
