DHS-ZW-SNMT-01 Motion Sensor won't detect motion - Solution!

    According to the manual here:
http://digitalhomesystems.com.au/doc..._Sensor_v1.pdf, this Australian/NZ motion/illumination/temp sensor is supported by HomeSeer, but I can only get temp & luminosity readings.
Unfortunately the manual only covers the Vera setup.

Here are some screenshots of how I have it configured:

I've made sure the device is awake, by removing/adding batteries and optimised the node 4 times.
I've added & deleted the nodes with the button on the USB and via HomeSeer's management page.
I hold down the rocker switch on the sensor for about 5 seconds to add & configure.

    HomeSeer version 2.5.0.49 &

I'm using it with the Aeon Labs USB stick:
    Z-Wave Z-Wave interface1 version: 5
    Z-Wave Controller Manufacturer: Aeon Labs, ID=0x1, Type=0x2
    Z-Wave Controller firmware version: 3.7
Z-Wave This Z-Wave PC Controller Library Version is: ZDK Version 5.02 Patch 3
Z-Wave This Z-Wave PC Controller is Type: ZW_LIB_CONTROLLER_STATIC

Can anyone see what I've done wrong, or is this unit not supported? I have two of them so it's unlikely they're both faulty in just the motion detector bit.
    Cheers

Well it seems like you have done everything needed.

The only thing I can think of, which probably won't make a difference, but seeing you didn't specifically mentioned it: have you tried rescanning the device for it's properties after you have added it?

Thanks, I think so, but I did it again:

Still no luck though. Does this mean it's not supported, despite the manual & http://zwave.com.au/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=19 claiming it is?

        Hi mate,

I'm also experiencing the exact issues you've gone through. I'm also located in Oz & would like to get my setup working.

By any chance have you had any luck getting the motion sensor working?
If you have worked it out, kindly please if you don't mind me asking how you did it?

        Cheers

Make the motion sensor work in HS

          Hi All,

for those of you who have the DHS-ZW-SNMT-01 motion sensor, you can now make it work by using our software.

          http://shop.dgrs.net/index.php?id_pr...roller=product

This application sits between Homeseer and your aeon labs usb stick and enable homeseer to understand the motion sensor.

The software has been tested and running perfectly for 4 weeks now.

If you would like to try the application free for 10 days please contact us at support@dgrs.net.

          see here for setup instructions.
