      Never heard of it (Loxone). It's a good rule of thumb that if it appears really good in a commercial or brochure, and promises rose gardens, you better take it with a grain of salt. As a consequence of living in an Idiocracy, the idiots most likely had too much input in said device, and better off with a kitchen full of ingredients and recipes and just do it yourself. I watched a videomercial, and it appears they have motion and lux built into the switch. Of course there's an app for that, and most likely propriatary coms. Yawns..

          @Jeff,

          You mentioned some mini Lenova desktops early here somewhere. What specific model were you writing about?

          Found them....Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p Tiny i5 2.9GHz 8GB 320GB Win 10 Pro for $199

          Here son gave me a Lenova T540p a few months back. I didn't like the touch pad and keypad and replaced them both last week.

          I like the plug n play construction of the Lenova Thinkpads much better than HP or Dell laptops that I have.

                  That looks like a nice little machine for HS. Depending on how many cameras, might to be able to run BI also.

                    Thanks Jeff ...these would replace two Shuttle Netop desktops which are too slow today (2017).

                    @Robert - these would make great Blue Iris servers.

                      @Jeff,

                      Went to finding and purchasing Lenova Tiny PC's with Haswell chipsets. Purchased them with i5's 16Gb RAM and 1Tb drives.

                      Matches most current Lenova Haswell Laptop (very modular) which I had modded a bit with an illuminated keyboard and better touchpad.

                      Concurrently purchased unlocked XL versions of Lumina W10 telephones. They are giving them away now....(switched wife from her iPhone to Lumina XL)
