DC power HomeSeer HomeTroller Zee S2

Is it possible to run the HomeSeer HomeTroller Zee S2 over 12 volt DC power alone and if so, what might it draw. I would like to set up on a sailboat. Would it be smarter to use a Pi instead?

The Zee S2 is a pi. It needs 5 VDC. Should be able to use a DC to DC converter.

    Cheers

Guess it would be a BoatTroller then, unless the boat is your home.

The Zee-S2 has a USB connector for power, so a 12v-to-USB power adapter should take care of it.

The product page cites a 5v at 1 amp for the USB.
