Music direct on Ipad/Iphone

I want to play the music from my Itunes playlist direct on the Ipad/Iphone speakers.

Everything works fine but I hear the music through the speakers of my server, which I don't want.

Is there an solution for this or is it impossible?

I think that is the way it works. The Media Player plugins control the local instance of the player which lives on the server.

Is Airdoil always active in the Ipad, also when it's running HSTouch? Ornis it closing Hstouch and opens airfoil?


So for me: I run an event in hstouch with a button and it plays my playlist through airfoil on my Ipad?

Just to be clear...

So, though I can use HSTouch to play music located on a networked computer, I can't play that feed through my iPad? I was just thinking it would be nice to access my music library on the network (which is too large to store on my iPad's limited memory, thank you Apple) through HSTouch's nice interface, and then play that music right on my iPad.
I can't play music on the iPad itself, only on the server pc? I saw the post aabout Airfoil, but it seems like that's my only option through Homeseer.

I'm picking up what you're putting down. I wouldn't mind hearing more about your setup if you don't mind the typing; the music side of HS is my newest venture and I'm just excited I got Media Player to work with HSTouch, though if my mp3s aren't tagged the songs aren't playable. Not Homeseer's fault, just saying.
So sure, if you have some time, I'd love to hear more about how you got those services working!
