EZFlora - no manual control - Fixed

I installed & wired the irrigation controller today. Using the SimpleHomeNet utility, I have set up the maximum valve times and set time values for the four valves I am controlling in the four programs. All values were verified by doing a 'get' for each program. The programs function properly from within Homeseer, and the next, prev functions work as well. What doesn't work is the manual control for each individual valve. The following log shows 'program 1' ON, then OFF (sprinklers came on), followed by a valve control (no sprinklers). I could send this log as an attachment to your email which would be easier to read.

Based on the log posted, there is not Insteon traffic when you command an individual valve on or off. This could be due to one of two reasons.
    1. A problem with the EZFlora plugin to respond properly to your valve change request
    2. A communication problem with the EZFlora device.

What version of the EZFlora plugin are you currently running? I recently released a new version that added the ability to program the manual timers and program timers. It also changed the way that the plugin handles the HomeSeer devices and may correct the problem that you are experiencing.

Please try the following and let me know if this fixes the valve control problem.
    1. From the EZFlora configuration page, delete the EZFlora device
    2. Disble the EZFlora plugin from the setup/interfaces page
    3. Verify that all EZFlora devices have been removed from the status page (If not, manually delete them)
    4. Shutdown HomeSeer
    5. Download the latest EZFlora plugin (http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=153663)
    6. Copy the EZFlora.dll file to the HomeSeer directory (replace the existing EZFlora.dll file)
    7. Restart HomeSeer
    8. Enable the EZFlora plugin from the setup/interfaces page
    9. Add your EZFlora device from the EZFlora Configuration page

Please let me know the results of this and if the valve control is still not working properly, please post an updated log of the issue with logging level set to 3 - Debug.

    Thanks,

    Adam

The newer version solved the problem. All valves/programs appear to be working from within Homeseer (I'll be running a program later today to check actual functionality). The ability to program the timers/programs from within homeseer is great. thanks much!

Am I correct in thinkng that if I turn on a program via an event, that when I see the last valve of that program shut off, I can then shutoff the program by another event?

Good news! I am glad the newer version solved the problem.

There is no need to turn off a program unless you want to end it prior to the last valves timer running out. Once a program has completed, the program a will turn off at the same time the last valve turns off.

I ran a program under homeseer event control and all worked as you described. Thanks for all your help.
