        Stef,

The plugin thinks the kpl is in 8 key mode.

use the plugin to set it to 6 key mode. if it says 6 key mode, the set it to 8 key mode then back to 6 key mode.

then check opflags1 value from the EEValues= line in the device section of the ini.

        it should say opflags1=32

I will try this. It was a 6 buttons kpl that I had manually converted to 8 buttons.

I just notice that lots of my devices are showing this warning:

Warning: The links for this device have changed since you last downloaded the link tables. Please use the 'Setup/Program Device' option so this device can operate properly.

                It could be the cause?

this is a unrelated msg, don't worry about it for now.

so is the kpl in 8btn mode now? try a "reprogram for homeseer" to fill in GroupLinkAddress 7 & 8, not sure why they didn't get created we you readded the device

The kpl is in 8 buttons mode.

                    The GroupLinkAddress 7 & 8 doesn't exist.

The OpFlags1 is equal to 40.

There are some link that look like they are in double (Link 18 to 22):

did you try using the plugin to set it to 8,6,8 btn so that you would get opflags1=8 instead of =40

if so and it didn't work, shutdown hs. in the ini, change the opflags1=8 for this kpl.

                      then reprogram for homeseer

don't mess with the links, they are different

i think its time to do a hard reset on the kpl.

turn detail debugging on for this...

delete the device from the plugin, hard reset it, then add it back in

I have been using the insteon plugin for several months with no problems until a few days ago when all of registered devices disapeared. Everything works fine except I cannot use the "Manage Devices" function towork with the links since none of the devices show up. Any ideas?
