Hello,
Recently purchased the nest plugin. It seems to work well for our nest protect detectors.
One question though -- can you add a 'heartbeat' device? You could use the 'debug/null' timestamp you already have generated for the keep-alive, and update the heartbeat data. This is what the First Alert does. While I didn't care for the false alerts, the heartbeat was super useful -- it lets you know things are working.
Right now, my device appears to have been stuck since mid-January when I activated it (main device timestamp). I enabled the debug log and found that the keep-alive is working ok. But would be awesome we could see that successful keep-alive timestamp and be able to take action if the keep-alive stops being alive
Thanks!
Jon
