This plugin is awesome, and it makes HomeSeer interact with the rest of the web. Fantastic!
However, I wish I could get information FROM HomeSeer TO the services somehow. For instance, I have a running gag on Facebook: If it has been raining I post the number of millimeters. I used my own Twitter plugin to do this earlier, but I'd rather like to use IFTTT (it's a bit more advanced)
With IFTTT I can post an image, but I'd like to customize the text as well, and I was wondering if it was possible to use the filename for this. I see that the filename is a random(?) number and it contains the update date.
Could the textfile be named with the variable (device string) I am trying to send?
The device string is this: "5,0 mm"
The IFTTT action would be this: "/IFTTT/Actions/Rain/$$DTR:323" (for example)
And in IFTTT I could use this text in the Post to Facebook "That":
"It has been raining <FileNameNoExt> today!"
Is it possible?
