You two have done an outstanding job on this plug-in too bad is it obscure in finding.. you would have many more users.. maybe you need to charge a few bucks or get it listed in the plug-in sectionUbuntu on the Intel NUC ( 8i5BEK ), 32 G, 250G SSD, V4 Pro 😎

could it be because I am connected via another plug-in ?
The main problem with Samsung TVs is turning them on as they don't respond to the RJ45 port when switched off.
This leaves you two options, IR (which we're all trying to avoid) and Serial over the RS232 "Exlink" port. My Exlink ports are all 3.5mm stereo jacks and I have a custom DB9 -> stereo cable that David built for me. In fact, it's 2 custom cables. 3.5mm to RJ45 [then a home run Cat6] then RJ45 to DB9, which for good measure I then have going into a serial server. All of this just to turn on the TV without IR!cheeryfool

I have that connected thru serial from a GC-100-6
I will re-hook up my GC tonight. I was running a serial emulator pkg before, will I still need it ?
Did you figure out the commands from the spec sheet you poster earlier, or you had that one working previously?cheeryfool
