Device Commands

So I recently made the purchase and have had great luck so far.

Im wanting to get a little more advanced with some of my routines/scenes using device commands.


Is there a place where one can find device commands for certain devices?

Xbox, DVRs, etc.

If you have "Use Devices?" checked for your hub(s), then a device is creates in HS for each AV device you have in your Harmony hub. These devices will have a dropdown of commands.

If you are referring to using the actions where you create a string of commands to sent to either 1 device or multiple, then you have to use the Command as it is listed in those dropdowns (I'm not sure, but to be safe I will say they are case sensative).

If you are just wanting to use them in an event where you only send a command at a time, you can use HomeSeer's built in "control a device" action to send a command to a device.
