Control of Carrier System

I have a new Carrier system with 8 zones that is controlled by a Carrier Comfort Zone II controller/thermostat. I also have the installer software that allows me to connect via an RS485 cable and control/set the thermostat. Is it possible to use this connection to integrate the Carrier thermostat into HS through one of the plug-ins? Or would it be possible to use the installer software to communicate with a plugin? TIA for any help.

Alan,
You could write a script to communicate with HS using the com port connection methods. I believe you would need an RS232 to RS485 converter to do this though.
