      Go for it. Much higher geek factor, at a higher price of coarse, but isn't that how this whole silly game is run???

        Did you mean the TR40 or do they have a newer stat? Also be aware that these are RS485 and not RS232 so you would need an expensive converter unless your handy with the soldering iron.

          I'm using the HAI RC80 and I'm really happy with it.

            I have 6 RC-80's

            I use them in a zoned hot water under floor heating and 1 just for the air conditioning. Been running over 5 years and never had a problem. They are connected to an Omni Pro for my programming and I have some HS events that control them based on outside temp as well as open doors/windows.

            Very easy to install and program.

              configurable delta

              Thinking of jumping into HVAC control. Does the HAI RC80 have a configurable delta? I thought I saw a mention of this, but their online manual says nothing about it. I'd go for the RCS TR40, but at that price...
