Log file Question

My Ecobee log file (Ecobee.txt) has grown rather large (I had in debug mode a while back and forgot to change back..)

Does the plugin do any automatic maintenance with regard to log file? Can I simply delete the file and start over with it?

there isn't any automatic maintenance, you just need to delete the file manually and restart the plugin.
