New IndeGoGo Security System - Monitor with no Cams

Looks like step up from normal motion sensors...

I was reading about this a couple days ago. I like that it can track someone as they're moving and knows the number of people in a room. With traditional motion sensors, you might be able to assume movement from one room to another, but not know if it was really two different people.

I assume it can be configured to ignore movement of objects below a certain size, such as pets.

I'm curious if only works by detecting movement, or if it can detect non-moving objects that aren't always there. Like if you're sitting still on the couch watching TV. If that's the case, then you probably have to let it rescan the rooms (when no one is in there) if you ever move big furniture around.

I like that it has an open API... it can talk to other devices and other devices can talk to it.

Saw a youtube on this today. Very interesting technology. But way too expensive! $430 for 6 sensors and a hub. Hopefully it will come down in price. I'd love to try it.

Has anyone had any luck in using these since their launch?

If this can be made to keep track of what rooms people are in I will by the hardware for the developer who makes a plugin and buy said plugin on top.

Let me look into it. I want to check if their web hooks require using the cloud service or if they can be set up in their hub. I'm not paying v $10/month for web hooks.
