Spud,
If the sequence is:
- HS3 is up and running
- Remote PC is booted up
- HSPI_KMS.exe is executed
everything is fine.
Once HS3 is restarted the Remote PC does not auto reconnect.
I have the remote PC setup with the following command:
C:\Drivers\KMS\HSPI_KMS.exe server=192.168.0.179 instance=MaryAnnLaptop console=false autoreconnect=300
Error I get in the log after the HS3 reboots every 5 minutes (aka autoreconnect=300) is:
Nov-09 16:19:02 Error Initializing plug-in(2): KMS Instance:MaryAnnLaptop:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.STACK: at System.Runtime.Remoting.Messaging.LogicalCallContext.Propaga teIncomingHeadersToCallContext(IMessage msg) at System.Runtime.Remoting.Proxies.RealProxy.PrivateInvoke(Mess ageData& msgData, Int32 type) at HomeSeerAPI.IPlugInAPI.InitIO(String port) at Scheduler.clsHSPI.CheckInterfaces()
In order to make the error go away I have to reboot the Remote PC.
Do I misunderstand the auto-reconnect option?
