Has anyone seen the latest news on Microsoft agreeing to acquire Github. Is that one of these.

We're a Microsoft shop - Windows Server 2012 R2 and Hyper-VM.
All of our development is in .NET.
That said, I get truly tired of seeing Microsoft nudging us to use TFS instead of git and going out of their way to block git in earlier VS releases. Now, I guess either MS will scuttle git and for us to TFS or vice-versa.HS4Pro on a Raspberry Pi4

GitLab is a GitHub competitor. I am sure others exist, but GitHub just happens to be the largest. There will probably be a shift, like there was with Sourceforge. Time will tell what will happen here.
