It's logged into a database file called locks.db under \Data\Locks. I use SQLiteBrowser to open it and look at the data in it. You can get it here: http://sqlitebrowser.org/

Attached screenshot show the Schlage Status Gfx... not much there.

      Is this correct?

I just pulled the Command Set PDF for these locks... looks like HS3 has a bug where is it not properly adding the command set?
The command set is for the configuration parameters which is not the same thing. I don't have a Schlage lock, so can't confirm if the list of status/graphics items are correct.

Have you tried the z-wave debug logging to see if multiple notifications are sent by the lock?

Seems that HST support cant either... they want me to 'move my controller closer' ... lame! Sure, I'll move my PC - right!

Ive searched, cant find anything to turn it on except...

        &hs.DebugMode = 64

... don't think it worked; I dont see debug info in the HS3 log.

Al, Feature request... I noticed that the virtual devices continue to grow with each new entry/exit it would be nice to have a means of trimming down to a weeks worth or some value so that we don't get information overload within each virtual device. I was thinking maybe over in the right panel have a few caned button? I know that when we did the setup that we specified for how long to keep the records but I would have thought that was in relations to the Locks.db. Mike

              Hi Mike,

There's already a configuration option called maxTableEntries which controls how many entries are shown in the logging virtual device. It's the 5th entry from the top in the config screen.

              Cheers

Well that was a quick feature install! it helps when one read/understands the various configuration options, one selects (to add injury to insult I actually changed it to 14)... Thanxs for the support. Mike

OK, finally found a pattern... every 20min... AND the Lock child device oddly enough has a 20min 16 second polling interval. I've seen random polling times on MANY other zwave devices - I never set these, HS3 must have.

                        So this begs the question...

On the Door Lock event for the Script I had teh Trigger:

"Changes and Becomes" <any value> ... so it was clearly triggering the event even when the value Did NOT Change?

Why is it triggering when the value stayed the same?
I have "Do not update device last change time
if device value does not change:" set and even the last change time shows 8am this morning but HS3 has triggered the event/script every 20 minutes still!?

                        thx for the help!

Al, minor issue when one of the messages is long e.g."User Code 1 Entered (501)" it crops the Time value for all entries as displayed in the virtual device. Is there anyway to resolve. I had a similar issue when I was getting GCalendar entries to display I moved the ON/OFF icon so that it was at the top and gave the text more real state. Used TR /TR format command. Mike

                            Hi Mike,

There are 4 configuration parameters available that can adjust this: TableFormat, TableEventFormat, TableDateFormat and TableTimeFormat so you could play around with those to see if any changes there will do what you need. However, the HS web pages have a number of options as to what columns to display, the table width, etc. so those would have an affect as well. Having said all that, the virtual device was intended to be used in custom web pages, or in HS Touch for display.

                            Cheers

Al thanxs for the comeback. I tried to modify the HS webpage but it did not fix the cropping issue in fact the attached screen shot shows additional real state to the right of the time.

As to TableFormat, TableEventFormat, TableDateFormat and TableTimeFormat more clues please! not sure what to put in the slot would be nice if there were drop down options (I know people in Hell..." I went back to the original explanation but these elements were added at a later time and did not see any further explanations. Mike

I'll add some better explanations for those. You can add any CSS properties that work for tables (see here for info: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_table.asp). An example would be something like this:

                                Code:
                                width:65px
Let me know if that helps.
