Sorry if this covered somewhere already but since ZSeer does not show the controller (will do this in upcoming release) it is hard for me to figure how to place the SmarStick in my LARGE (in terms of distances) house:
2 basic questions:
-Are Smartick (Ztroller) routing nodes or just the origin of the Z-wave tree? Is the optimization of all the other nodes going to depend on the SmartStick
moving around; are some nodes potentially relying on the SmartStick to get to another node?
Would be great if the Z-wave would not rely on PC interface being alive(computer crashes,...) once it is setup. Assuming that ZSeer shows the controller as a node, can it be taken out off the network optimization?
-Does the Smartick count in the number of hops limiting the pan of Z-Wave (3 hops?)
